Practicing Mindfulness

This video offers a gentle introduction to practising mindfulness, designed especially for beginners. The session guides you through simple awareness practices to help you slow down, notice the present moment, and reconnect with yourself in a calm and supportive way.

You do not need any previous experience with mindfulness. There is no right or wrong way to practise. You are invited to simply notice your breath, body, and thoughts with curiosity and kindness.

What to expect

  • Gentle guided mindfulness prompts

  • A calm, unhurried pace

  • Space to pause, rest, or stop at any time

What you’ll need

  • A comfortable seated or lying position

  • Comfortable clothing

  • Optional: a cushion, chair, or blanket for support

No equipment is required.

Intention and approach

This practice is about awareness, not effort. You do not need to clear your mind or change anything about your experience. Simply noticing what is present is the practice.

If at any point you feel uncomfortable, you are welcome to open your eyes, shift position, or stop the video.
